Who Is The Enemy Of Allah (swt)?

Ghasb (usurpation) in Arabic means to unjustly seize something wrongfully. This is one of the major sins and one who commits it will be subjected to severe chastisement on the Day of Judgement.

It has been reported from the Holy Prophet (saw) “That whoever usurps one span of another's land, seven layers of that land will be put round his neck like a yoke on the Day of Judgement”.

Allah (swt) says:

And eat up not one another’s property unjustly (in any illegal way, e.g. stealing, robbing, deceiving”

(2:188)

Holy Qur'aan

It is a general belief among the so called 'Ahl ul Sunnah' that criticizing, cursing, insulting ANY of the companions is Kufr (Disbelief) and renders one as a non Muslim.

Al-Dhahabi:

WHOEVER criticizes or curses them has verily left the religion (of Islam) and apostatized from the religion of Muslims.

Salih ibn Fawzan:

Whosoever is a hater of the companions is a Kafir (disbeliever).

Al-Subki:

...... the reason why Rafidhis are considered disbelievers because of their hatred against both of them (Aboo Bakr & Umar) and insulting them both.

Who Is The Enemy Of Allah (swt), Qur'aan, Liar, Thief, Usurper, Kaffir, Rafidi?

"Whoever is an enemy to Allah, His Angels, His Messengers, Jibrael (Gabriel) and Mikael (Michael), then verily, Allah is an enemy to the disbelievers."

(2:98)

Holy Qur'aan

وَيَوۡمَ يُحۡشَرُ اَعۡدَآءُ اللّٰهِ اِلَى النَّارِ فَهُمۡ يُوۡزَعُوۡنَ‏

And [mention, O Muhammad], the Day when the enemies of Allah will be gathered to the Fire while they are [driven] assembled in rows

(41:19)

Holy Qur'aan

Humayd ibn Zanjway:
Narrated to us Humayd from Aboo Ubayd and also Ma'az bn Ma'az from Ibn Awn from Ibn Sirin that he said: "And when Aboo Hurairah returned from Bahrain (During the caliphate of 'Umar, 'Umar appointed him as governor of Bahrain) he reprimanded him and said 'O enemy of Allah (swt), O enemy of the book (Qur'aan), you have stolen from the treasury of Allah (i.e. public treasury).

In which Aboo Hurairah replied 'By God I am not an enemy of Allah (swt) or his book. But rather I am an enemy of their enemy. And I have not stolen from the public treasury.'

So Umar said 'So how did you accumulate this wealth of 10,000 Dirhams?' Abu Hurairah said ' I had horses which were breading, and the salary that was from the public treasury by which I accumulated this'.

Umar usurped the money from him. Aboo Hurariah said 'When I prayed mourning prayers I sought forgiveness for the commander of the faithful'
Footnote:

Shakir Theeb says 'Ibn Sa'd has narrated it through several chains from Ibn Awn from Muhammad likewise and the chain of Ibn Zanjawaih is Saheeh (Authentic)'

So lets us look some possibilities:

1. Umar was enemy of Islam and apostatized from the religion, he was a Kaffir and Rafidi
2. Aboo Huariah was enemy of Allah (swt), enemy of the Qur'aan and a thief
3. Aboo Huariah was a liar since Umar did not believe him
4. Umar usurped Aboo Huariah
5. Aboo Huariah usurped the rights of Muslim
6. Either Aboo Huariah or Umar are enemies of Islam who are in the fire!

One is curious how the so-called 'Ahl ul Sunnah' reconcile their views with their own Sahabah (who never held this position) who insulted, abused, usurped, cursed and fought each other!
