Zaid Ibn Alee Regarding Abu Bakr & Umar

 لَـعۡنَةُ اللّٰهِ عَلَى الظّٰلِمِيۡنَۙ

Allah's curse be upon the oppressors!

Holy Qur'an

{11:8}

Muhammad Abdul Adhim ibn Al Hassan Al Hawthi Al Hassani:

And in the book Usul Al Diyanaat by Sheikh Abi Ja'far Muhammad ibn Ya'qub Al Hawsami Al Nasari, may Allah be pleased with him, it is written: and it has been narrated from Fudhayl ibn Marzooq, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: I was with Zaid ibn Alee, peace be upon them, in Al-Kannasah and a man asked him about the Shaykhayn (i.e. Aboo Bakr and Umar), he turned his face from him, when it became night and he (i.e. Zaid) was struck with an arrow he said: "Where is the questioner?", so they brought him, he (i.e. Zaid), peace be upon him, then said: "It is them both who struck me with arrow, it is them both who killed me, it is them both who brought me in this situation, and it is them both who first wronged us about our rights, and made people ride our shoulders, so our blood is on their neck until the day of judgment."

And this has been narrated also by Al Imam Imaduddin Yahya ibn Al Hussain ibn Al Muayyid ibn Al Qasim ibn Muhammad, peace be upon them, and he has mentioned for it a vast number of chains, and the same thing has happened with his son Al Imam Yahya ibn Zaid, peace be upon them both, that he answered the same question with the same answer like his father, peace be upon them both, when he was asked about it in the battlefield.

Footnote: And this has been narrated also in Al Asjid Al Muzab where he mentions Imam Zaid ibn Alee, peace be upon them, and Imam Al Mansour Billah Al Hassan ibn Badruddin narrates it from him in Anwaar Al Yaqin where he mentions him (i.e. Zaid), peace be upon him, that he attributed the oppression of the cursed Hisham to the Shaykhayn (i.e. Aboo Bakr and Umar), and he turned away from the questioner and when he was struck with an arrow he said: "Where is the questioner?" so the man entered upon him and he (i.e. Zaid), peace be upon him, said: "it is them both who hit me with arrow, it is them both who killed me, it is them both who brought me in this situation, and it is them both who first wronged us about our rights, and made people ride our shoulders, so our blood is on their neck until the day of judgment.", and indeed Abil Abbas has narrated it in Masabih and it is also in Majmu' Kutub Wa Rasahil Li Imam Zaid (382), and in Sharh Al Iz'haar (4/194), the first edition, and in A'yaan Al-Shia (7/114) it is written: And it is narrated that when he was struck with an arrow, he called the questioner and showed him the arrow and said: "It is them both who brought me in this situation.'", Bihar Al-Anwar, Vol. 72, Pg. # 264, and in Majmu' of Al Sayyid Humaydan he says: and it has been narrated from Zaid ibn Alee, peace be upon him, that he attributed the oppression of Hisham to Shaykhayn (i.e. Aboo Bakr and Umar), because they were both the first people who started the oppression of the Progeny (of the Prophet (saw)) and proceeded ahead of the Imams."
