Fakhruddin Al-Uzjandi:
If impurity touches some of a person's body parts and he licks it with his tongue until its trace is gone, it would be considered clean and likewise is the knife, if it becomes dirty and he licks it with his tongue or wipes it with his saliva as it is mentioned in Fatawa of Qazi Khan. And if a person licks a garment with his tongue until the trace of Najasah (impurities) disappears it would be considered clean as it is mentioned in Al-Muhit.
